Description: Rare porcelain figure of the celebrated Siamese twins Chang and Eng Bunker.b1810-d1873. They were born in Thailand and taken to US by P T Barnum to appear in the show. They were the original Siamese twins. This figure is inscribed SIAM ZWILLINGE. (Siamese twins in German). Barnum toured Europe and was in Germany circa 1860.
