Description: Unusual treen Peel or slice. These Peels were usually for taking bread or pies out of the ovens. This could be for that use but unusually has a serrated front edge which implies it could also has been used to cut . Possibly this could be for cutting curd in cheese making. This Peel is cut across the grain and this would give extra strength. Small bit of damage to one side edge. Small crack(glued) to serrated edge. Otherwise in good original condition.
